During World War 2, Americans helped to liberate the nations that Germany had subjugated. Much of Europe was destroyed and a reduced to pile of smoking rubble. The Allied nations — UK, America, Canada, and Russia — were responsible as much of Europe was laid waste due to excessive bombing campaigns by Churchill. What happened at Dresden was undoubtedly a war crime against humanity and casts a shadow of shame upon the West.
But the U.S.A. tired to make amends and offered the Marshall Plan which helped rebuild Europe. In today’s dollars this cost American taxpayers $173 billion to $200 billion. After the war the West soon agreed with Hitler and realized that the Soviet Union was the real threat to peace throughout the world and they formed NATO to protect Europe. In the past seven decades since it’s formation the U.S.A. has spent trillions of dollars in military expenditures defending Europe.
Europe has not paid its fair share for it’s protection. Given the fact that in recent years under the tyrannical EU, Europe has moved away from bedrock principles of free speech and democracy, and advocated for censorship and the replacement of their citizenry with Muslim migrants, many Americans are wondering why they are continuing to foot the bill for Europe?
Adding insult to injury is the perenial ungrateful attitude of Europeans.
The German people post World War II have changed. They are now the worst offenders in Europe. When they are not visiting prostitutes (Germany is the whorehouse of Europe) they are drunk on the Reisling of anti-Americanism.
With a few exceptions, many Germans in particular seem to have an unearned sense of moral superiority which manifests itself in unceasing contempt for Americans. This is the same nation that jailed German patriot eyewitness to history Ursula Haverbeck at 95 all because she had the temerity to question that event which shall not be named. She died in prison a resolute heroine to the end. Germans love their assertive women but only when they proclaim legally sanctioned truths.
Most Americans don’t care about Europe. The proud lion does not care about the insignificant fly buzzing around and swats it with his tail. But we don’t share our indifference to score virtue signaling points, we keep it to ourselves. For my part, I do care about Europe but I feel helpless that Europe is slowly committing civilizational suicide like a frog boiling in water. Europe was an essential part of Western civilization and my lineage is from both Western and Eastern Europe.
After Zelenskyy came to the White House and behaved like an ungrateful child high on cocaine, Trump and Vance put him in his place. There is a rumor going around that the United States will be moving all of its military bases from Germany to Hungary.
Europe and Germany in particular are living on borrowed time. The patience of Americans and their generosity have run out. Germany in particular has demographically sabotaged itself with unlimited mass immigration of Muslims from Turkey. Germany has also shut down most of its nuclear power plants and made itself reliant on Russian energy all in the name of the false god of environmentalism.
Michael Shellenberger is one of the wisest people in the world today. A visibly upset Shellenberger (an American) unleashed a torrent of tough talk that Europeans need to hear. I copied a video of his recent video on X and re-posted it on my channel on Rumble. I agree with everything he says. Europe needs to fight its own battles and pay for its own defense. I urge all reasonable Europeans to watch this video and ponder his message.

Shellenberger is right. Unfortunately, the only Germans and Europeans listening are not the ones that should. The others would argue a singular point and/or deny everything.
You mentioned things many Germans and other Europeans, like British and French, simply ignore and deny, like Islamic conquest, or that Germany is Europe’s biggest pimp, even surpassing the Netherlands. Germany, Austria and Switzerland have legal prostitution. This is supposed to solve all related problems, but it is more like the state getting $$$ taxes, and IMO this makes the state complicit in prostitution. And many prostitutes are still forced to do the job. “Work in Germany” for a pretty woman from a poor country might end up being not an office job, but her office being a brothel.
Anti-Americanism is awful and rampant, democracy is fake, see what the EU did to the candidate in Romania who is right wing and supposedly a Russian puppet. They just banned the leading candidate from the election! Reminds me of a former GDR head of state, Ulbricht, “it must look democratic but we must control everything”.
WW2 was blamed on the right-wing Nazis, and it was the biggest gain for Germanys worst ideology ever, the other side of evil, the German left. Marxism/Socialism. Germany sending Lenin to the Soviet Union was the biggest biological WMD in world history, how many millions died due to this ideology. It also shows how awfully such things can backfire, they destroyed Russia but created the Soviet Union.
Now, the left wing is ruling unchecked, most of Western Europe is socialist, while Eastern Europe still remembers all too well the “blessings” of socialism.
But yeah, what rubs me the wrong way is the utter ignorance paired with a feeling of moral superiority. It is hypocritical moralism, not moral at all.
Sunnite islamists kill Christians and Shiites/Schias civilians in Syria, for most of European and German media there is “fighting”. Did a victim really try to fight back? How shocking. The expulsion of Armenians by Turkish sponsored drone swarms from islamist Azerbaijani in the Nagorny-Karabakh enclave was also totally ignored.
We have regular rape, murder, theft, car attacks and people still didn’t manage to elect a proper new government. The new supposedly conservative upcoming chancellor suddenly decided on a program that is more socialist than that of the socialists and people just swallow this crystal-clear election fraud.
I have a relative and a former friend who are such utter socialist fools. They are politically not educated at all, they fear Nazis, but they do not even know what the Nazis did. The political left/Antifa are so very much like the Nazis it is incredible, but they do not see that. Censorship, political control, abusive laws and the telltale of socialism, economic “success”. Germany’s economy is failing hard. And now add in the latest do-gooder thing, save the entire world and climate and whatsoever. They just do silly things but won’t save anything. It is just too terrible.
