During World War 2, Americans helped to liberate the nations that Germany had subjugated. Much of Europe was destroyed and a reduced to pile of smoking rubble. The Allied nations the — UK, America, Canada, and Russia –were responsible as much of Europe was laid waste due to excessive bombing campaigns by Churchill. What happened at Dresden was undoubtedly a war crime against humanity and casts a shadow of shame upon the West.
But the U.S.A. tired to make amends and offered the Marshall Plan which helped rebuild Europe. In today’s dollars this cost American taxpayers $173 billion to $200 billion. After the war the West soon agreed with Hitler and realized that the Soviet Union was the real threat to peace throughout the world and they formed NATO to protect Europe. In the past seven decades since it’s formation the U.S.A. has spent trillions of dollars in military expenditures defending Europe.
Europe has not paid its fair share for it’s protection. Given the fact that in recent years under the tyrannical EU, Europe has moved away from bedrock principles of free speech and democracy, and advocated for censorship and the replacement of their citizenry with Muslim migrants, many Americans are wondering why they are continuing to foot the bill for Europe?
Adding insult to injury is the perenial ungrateful attitude of Europeans. The German people post World War II have changed. They are now the worst offenders in Europe. When they are not visiting prostitutes (Germany is the whorehouse of Europe) they are drunk on the Reisling of anti-Americanism.
With a few exceptions, many Germans in particular seem to have an unearned sense of moral superiority which manifests itself in unceasing contempt for Americans. This is the same nation that jailed German patriot eyewitness to history Ursula Haverbeck at 95 all because she had the temerity to question that event which shall not be named. She died in prison a resolute heroine to the end. Germans love their assertive women but only when they proclaim legally sanctioned truths.
The truth is, that most Americans don’t care about Europe. The proud lion does not care about the insignificant fly buzzing around and swats it with his tail. But we don’t share our indifference to score virtue signaling points, we keep it to ourselves. For my part, I do care about Europe but I feel helpless that Europe is slowly committing civilizational suicide like a frog boiling in water. Europe was an essential part of Western civilization and my lineage is from both Western and Eastern Europe.
After Zelenskyy came to the White House and behaved like an ungrateful child high on cocaine, Trump and Vance put him in his place. There is a rumor going around that the United States will be moving all of its military bases from Germany to Hungary.
Europe and Germany in particular are living on borrowed time. The patience of Americans and their generosity have run out. Germany in particular has demographically sabotaged itself with unlimited mass immigration of Muslims from Turkey. Germany has also shut down most of its nuclear power plants and made itself reliant on Russian energy all in the name of the false god of environmentalism.
Michael Shellenberger is one of the wisest people in the world today. A visibly upset Shellenberger (an American) unleashed a torrent of tough talk that Europeans need to hear. I copied a video of his recent video on X and re-posted it on my channel on Rumble. I agree with everything he says. Europe needs to fight its own battles and pay for its own defense. I urge all reasonable Europeans to watch this video and ponder his message.
