Blizzard Entertainment Rejects Political Neutrality and Sides with Ukraine in American Proxy War Against Russia

Imagine how the average consumer would feel if Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Paramount+, AppleTV, or any other entertainment streaming platform started bombarding their customers with political propaganda about supporting one side in an international conflict.

Imagine pouring a box of Kellog’s Corn Flakes into a cereal bowl and you find a blue and yellow Ukrainian flag wrapped in plastic tucked in with the flakes. All you wanted to do was to have your breakfast in peace but Kellogg’s decided you needed to be reminded of the Russian-Ukraine war.

Both intrusions would feel highly inappropriate and invasive. But this is exactly what Blizzard Entertainment is doing with their new Pet Pack for Ukraine promotion for World of Warcraft. Other video game studios have engaged in similar moral grandstanding. When you need to find moral clarity in this world, there is no better place to look than the pious slacktivists in the video game industry.

If you purchase a pet in the Blizzard cash shop they will send all of the proceeds to BlueCheck, a pro-Ukrainan relief charity. In effect, Blizzard Entertainment just announced that they are picking a side and supporting Ukraine in the current war between them and Russia.

Here’s useful idiot bimbo actress Mila Kunis shilling for Blizzard and the Bidgen regime:

You will notice that the Blizzard Mila Kunis video has an equal amount of likes and dislikes. This is an obvious sign that Blizzard players are not happy with Blizzard’s attempts to virtue signal with one-sided political posturing.

In the good old days before Blizzard become woke, I eagerly anticipated videos from the Irvine studio. They were wholesome light-hearted, escapist fun:

Wars and Rumors of Wars

At any given time in this world, there are various wars and conflicts. As of the time of pulling this article, there are a total of 15 wars and conflicts going on in the world right now in 2023. But for some reason, Blizzard had decided to ignore all of that except the war in Ukraine.

Why is this?

The reason is that supporting Ukraine is a fashionable cause among the globohomo intelligentsia, the woke aristocracy, and their vassals in media and academia. It is no coincidence that the very same people that had Hillary, BLM, Biden, and Pride flags flying outside their homes, now have blue and gold Ukraine flags.

The Woke Need Villains to Show Their Moral Superiority

Now that Trump is gone, these perpetually angry activists need a new malefactor to focus their rage on and anti-LGBTQ, pro-Christian Vladimir Putin fits the bill. Like Trump, they believe Putin is worse than Hitler.

The Russian-Ukraine war is controversial here in America but you wouldn’t know that because of the propaganda being spread by the globalist-controlled mainstream media which now includes FoxNews. Many Americans rightly believe that the U.S. government is fighting a proxy war against Russia and using Ukraine. So far, the Biden regime has sent $75 billion of financial, humanitarian, and military aid to Ukraine.

At a time when the U.S. economy is in bad shape with rising inflation, out-of-control crime, homelessness, and widespread drug addiction, that money should be spent right here at home. But the warmongers who run both political parties here in the U.S.A. have different plans.

Another point of contention is the very same Biden regime that is leaving the southern US border undefended as millions of invaders are flowing into the country from over 151 countries. In 2022, 109,680 Americans died from Fentanyl overdoses manufactured in China and smuggled into the U.S.A. from Mexico.

Open Discussions About the Russia-Ukraine War Are Being Repressed

There are no easy answers to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. This is not a Spielberg film with clear heroes and villains.

Ukraine has a long and complicated history with Russia and the world. Stalin and his brutal communist regime killed millions of Ukrainians by starvation in what is now known as the Holodomor. To their eternal shame, American journalists like The New York Times’s Walter Duranty knew full well what was going on but failed to disclose this genocide to the world because he was a communist sympathizer.

Russian’s perspective on Ukraine is rarely reported in the West as the U.S. and NATO media are only telling one side of the story.

One point that is rarely mentioned is that U.S. Secretary of State James Baker promised the Russians that NATO would not advance eastward. In February of 1990, Baker suggested to Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev that if Germany were to reunify, NATO would not expand “one inch to the east” of Germany. So from a Russian perspective, America and NATO have broken that promise. It is reasonable to expect Putin would feel threatened if Ukraine were to become a member of NATO.

Some believe that the current Ukraine regime is illegitimate. George Soros admitted that he and his nefarious Open Society Foundations helped install Zelensky in 2014 who at the time was an actor and a comedian. The Bill Kloss Blog reported the following:

George Soros acknowledged in an interview with CNN that he actively contributed to the overthrow of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in 2014. “I created a foundation in Ukraine before it became independent from Russia. The foundation has functioned since then and has played an important role in current events,” explains the financier who established the International Renaissance Foundation, in Ukraine, as part of the Open Society Foundations, in April 1990.

The Real Possibility of Nuclear War

My heart goes out to all the people on both sides that have endured suffering, death, and destruction. There are no good guys in this war. My family barely escaped the bloodthirsty Russian Bolsheviks in World War 2. There is no country that I despise more than Russia for the millions that the U.S.S.R. murdered and the millions they enslaved after World War 2.

Both Putin and Zelensky have tried to work out a peace deal but each time they are on the verge of success the warmongering Biden regime sabotaged it. The U.S. government — currently run by neocons like Victoria Neuland — wants regime change. They want Putin gone and replaced with a U.S.-friendly leader. Ukraine would have fallen within a few days if the U.S.A. had not supported it. There can be no doubt that the U.S.A. is waging a proxy war against Russia.

Many have speculated that Biden is a compromised puppet of the communist Chinese. His drug-addicted son Hunter Biden has been involved in questionable deals in Ukraine for years. Biden is acting like a business agent for the U.S. military-industrial complex, and the large corporations that seek to make billions of dollars with contracts to rebuild Ukraine just like they did after the Iraq war.

War is hell. Nuclear war will be far worse than hell. This is why we should do all we can to stop this senseless conflict.

Conclusion

Blizzard Entertainment has no business promoting national and international political causes to its customers. American companies should not be taking sides in wars in faraway lands that do not concern us.

The idea that corporations should be politically neutral was never controversial until a decade ago. Businesses always respected the right for everyone to have their own political beliefs. It was how business was conducted. Those that didn’t follow this unwritten rule would promptly go out of business. But today, thanks to Steve Jobs and the proliferation of “values marketing,” corporations are trying to seduce consumers by appealing to their deeply held beliefs and their ideological worldview.

The weaponization of empathy and the manipulation of compassion by corporations is sinister and dangerous. Left unchecked, it is a recipe for division and polarization. One only has to look at how the political and social landscape of the U.S.A. has been destabilized for the past 12 years, to see how this has played out. Nations need things that bring people together; they don’t need things that tear them apart.

Corporations like Activision-Blizzard have no business siding with governments and lecturing their customers on political and social issues. When the government and corporate values align and engage in censorship, it’s a red flag that looks like a textbook definition of fascism. I do not use that term lightly as the woke left has been recklessly using that label for decades to smear and silence people. But it’s becoming impossible not to draw these conclusions about the current state of the U.S.A. and the Deep State that controls it.

The entire point of entertainment is that you are providing people with pure escapism. Breaking immersion by introducing real-world wars and events erodes the quality of escapism. Offering virtual pets to people who support Ukraine is a clear sign that Blizzard is putting their thumbs on the scale and involving themselves and their customers in matters that do not concern them.

Activision-Blizzard are hypocrites of the highest order. They suspended e-sports Heartstone player Blitzching for daring to speak up for the people of Hong Kong in the face of Red China’s aggression. Blizzard never offered WoW players special pets for Hong Kong and donations for charities, but they do for Ukraine?

No matter what moral exhibitionism Blizzard engages in, you can be sure there is some ulterior motive that benefits its executives and their shareholders. Follow the money.

By offering assistance to only one side, they are aggravating WoW players who may support Russia in this conflict. They are also betraying players who simply do not wish to be reminded of real-world politics.

The point of virtual pets is that other players will see them. Players that may not support Ukraine or are neutral in the matter will see these immersion-breaking virtual pets throughout Azeroth and they may feel uncomfortable and alienated. But this shameless political proselytizing is par for the course for virtue-signaling Jedi masters like Blizzard who routinely choose sides in various culture war battles such as LGBTQ rights, Black Lives Matter, DEI, ESG, and radical feminist causes.

Players who inhabit virtual worlds are a captive audience. They should not be shamed, cajoled, and coerced into supporting real-world causes.

And what happens to WoW players who disagree with Blizzard? Players that may want to protest this in-game by using general chat could have their accounts banned by Blizzard for daring to speak out. So their only option is to vote with their feet and quit.

The right to publicly or privately support either Ukraine or Russia, to have no opinion on the matter, or to ignore it completely is the right of every single person. That right should be respected by video game companies and they should not be trying to convince their players into taking sides in international conflicts or taking part in “raising awareness” virtue-signaling stunts.

They are plenty of charities that support Ukraine. We do not need moral exhibitionists at video game companies jumping on the bandwagon du jour to score more virtue-signaling points. Players that feel inclined to support Ukraine can do it in their own way, privately, on their own time, without destroying immersion further with their Ukraine vanity pets.

Keep your nose out of people’s lives and stay in your lane Blizzard.
