Why Did Blizzard’s Chris Metzen Greenlight the Worst Cinematic in Warcraft in History?

A month ago, Blizzard Entertainment released the worst cinematic in Warcraft history on YouTube. It’s an unfocused, unintelligible hot mess.

It features a female troll gyrating in a quasi-Haitian Hollywood voodoo ceremony. It also features a disabled female black orc/elf in girl boss mode donning armor. The only thing missing was a wheelchair. There is one lone male who happens to be some kind of Earthen or Dark Iron dwarf. I’m sure they’ll announce he’s gay soon. The rest of the characters are all strong, independent, bitchy females.

The horrifically bad video makes no sense. It is utterly incomprehensible. It feels more like a Diablo cinematic than one from World of Warcraft. Diablo’s cinematics are full of black people. The people in the comments section have rightly eviscerated it.

It is clear that the video was made for DEI propaganda purposes at the behest of Blizzard’s internal employee DEI advocacy group. This group was created to make sure that LGBTQ people, minorities, and woke ideology will be injected into every game that Blizzard releases.

Earlier this year, The Blaze confirmed this and reported that former Blizzard producer Mark Kern warned that Blizzard has DEI commissars on every single team at Blizzard to ensure that DEI propaganda is inserted into games like World of Warcraft:

Fandom Pulse has a terrific article about Blizzard’s DEI propaganda and reports that they are spying on their employees:

Activision then mentions they’re spying on their employees and measuring them based on their skin colors and sexualities, a major invasion of privacy that has to be unsettling for most of their labor force. “We started measuring every employee’s sense of belonging through an Inclusion Score, a quantitative measure of the extent to which employees feel welcomed, valued, and included within the organization.”

What Blizzard is doing is Orewllian and reminds us of daily life in the communist nation of North Korea.

Conclusion

Not only is this cinematic fully woke, it’s incoherent and bad storytelling. It’s a mishmash of unrelated scenes. Director of Cinematics Terran Gregory has a lot to answer for.

What bothers me the most is that Executive Creative Director Chris Metzen must of given this cinematic the green light. How on earth could he have allowed this to happen? How does he look at himself in the mirror every day? How does he live with himself knowing he’s working for a studio that has been captured by the forces of modern-day evil?

It never ceases to amaze me how people will sell their souls for money.

Any hope that the return of Chris Metzen was going to restore World of Warcraft to its former masculine balls-to-the-wall guts and glory is gone. It turns out that Metzen is no long-awaited savior. Instead, he’s a gelded false prophet who is powerless to stop the advance of cultural Marxism and wokeness in Blizzard. He should be ashamed of himself.
